About Us
AYSO is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing a healthy soccer experience for young people from the ages of 4 to 19. AYSO is based upon six guiding principles: Open Registration, Good Sportsmanship, Balanced Teams, Everyone Plays, Positive Coaching, and Player Development. We stress a positive attitude at all times. Soccer should be FUN!
Each child is guaranteed of playing at least three quarters of every game he or she attends (division U-5 through U-14) during the Fall season. At the same time, your child will be learning to be a member of a team: along with the rest of the teammates, he or she will be expected to show good attendance and promptness at both the games and at the practices.
We have open registration. As long as field space remains available and there are sufficient adult volunteers to act as coaches and referees, any registration submitted before registration closes is accepted, regardless of the player’s experience or ability. Registrations received after the closing date will be placed on a waiting list. However, we cannot guarantee a placement as the teams begin to fill up.
The teams are selected to ensure balance with respect to both ability and age levels. We make extensive efforts to get consistent player ratings – an absolute necessity for team balancing.

Do you have any available space in BU14 division?
I suggest you contact Dennis Phillips, who is that divisions coordinator. He should be able to give you information.

MY SON IS TURNING 9 YEARS OLD ON SEP 19 DO YOU HAVE OPENINGS IN THAT DIVISON?
You should contact the appropriate division coordinator list on our Board Member page. They should be able to provide status for that division.
BTW – I think that would make your son U-10.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE INF! HAVE A GREAT DAY
WHERE CAN I FIND THE REGISTRATION FORM FOR MY SON SO HE CAN BE IN A WAITING LIST? FOR BU10
I’ll reply later today with the location. I haven’t moved it over from the old site yet.
The Registration page has been added to this site. It should have all the information you need, including a link to the registration form. http://ayso174.org/registration/

Contact the BU12 division coordinator. It’s possible you may be on the waiting list. http://ayso174.org/board
We have never done AYSO and are interested in our 3yr old and 5yr old boys getting started. Is there a season coming up that we could register them for? What would those dates be? Also, what is the cost? Sorry for all the questions, we are new to this. Thank you.
At this point we are right in the middle of our Fall season, which is the main season for us. We do also run a shorter spring soccer league, which usually starts in April, but we have not yet opened registration for spring yet. Check our website in a few weeks for more information, or you can follow us on Facebook or Twitter if you want to be notified. I believe your 3 year old will still be too young to start playing – check our Registration page for age cut-offs as as well as pricing information: http://ayso174.org/registration.
Hi I am the group sales manager at The Four Points Sheraton in Bakersfield. We just found out that the U16/U19 tournament has been moved from Visalia to Bakersfield for this weekend. I am offering a special rate! Do you have any contact information, or could you please spread the word? I would be happy to speak with the parents, coaches etc. Any help would be great! Thanks
Thanks Lindsey, but our region plays coed U16/U19, therefore we do not send teams to that tournament. Talk to us again in a few months when the U10-U14 tournament is on. Thanks.
Who do I contact to see if I can still register my 8 year daughter for the spring session?
Contact our registrar. He is listed on our board member page: http://ayso174.org/board
