Welcome to the 2008 Spring Soccer Season. Opening Day is scheduled for April 15, 2008.

Our philosophy in the Spring Season has been to give each child the opportunity to become more involved in the game by playing short sided games. Fewer players on the field mean more touches on the ball per player.

In order to balance out teams for Spring Soccer, we will hold ratings days for all new players only. Returning players need not attend our ratings days.  The purpose is not to select or exclude anyone, but rather to rate each player as accurately as we can to spread the teams as evenly as we can to ensure balanced teams for the Spring Season.

In order to participate in our new player ratings, all players must have shin guards and plenty of water or Gatorade. Soccer shoes are strongly recommended but not required. Please have your child wear a white t-shirt.

LOCATION: The new player ratings will be played at the AYSO Region 174 soccer fields, located at 13100 Balboa Blvd., Granada Hills, at the MWD Jensen Filtration Plant near the corner of Woodley and Balboa.

DATE: ALL GIRLS - Tuesday, March 11th. Check in time: 4:30 PM. New player ratings begin at 5:00 PM

ALL BOYS - Thursday, March 13th. Check in time: 4:30 PM. New player ratings begin at 5:00 PM

Teams, uniforms, and schedules will be given out to the coaches on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the snack bar from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

We will have a RULES DAY for all coaches and referees on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 5:00 pm on the soccer fields.

Opening Day is the following Tuesday, April 15, 2008
