Fall 2017 Registration
AYSO Region 174 provides for Open Registration. Every player registering to play before July 1, 2017 will be placed on a team, regardless of experience or playing ability. The season will begin September 9, 2017.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
Our registration process has changed! Registration is now completed online through Blue Sombrero.

Regular registration will close on July 1, 2017. Late registration will be accepted. However, late registrants will be placed on a waiting list in the appropriate age division. Our goal is to provide a positive and rewarding soccer experience to each and every participant. As additional players are identified, they will be added to the program from the waiting list in a manner consistent with preserving balance in the affected division(s).
AGES AND DIVISIONS
Your child’s birth year determines the division he/she will play in. The following are the cutoffs for each division.
Under 5 (5U) – born in 2013
Under 6 (6U) – born in 2012
Under 7 (7U) – born in 2011
Under 8 (8U) – born in 2010
Under 10 (10U) – born in 2008 or 2009
Under 12 (12U) – born in 2006 or 2007
Under 14 (14U) – born in 2004 or 2005
Under 16/19 (16U/19U) – born between 1999 to 2003
AYSO Region 174 strongly believes in balanced teams. To this end, any player in a competitive division (7U through 19U) that did not participate in the program during the 2016 Fall Season, must be evaluated prior to being placed on a team. New player evaluations will be held during Summer 2017. You will be contacted by your division coordinator to schedule the appropriate date and time for the evaluation. ***Please Note*** This process is not a “try-out.” Each player attending the evaluation will be placed on a team. This is simply a tool to allow the Region to better balance the teams.

Refund requests should be directed to the Regional Registrar via email or in writing to our mailbox. Please download and complete the Refund Request form and return via email or U.S. mail. A refund will be processed, less a $17.50 AYSO Membership fee per player, for those requests made prior to June 30, 2017. **NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THIS DATE** Please note there is a 6 to 8 week processing period for refunds.
If you wish to drop and receive a refund for registration, you must print and complete the Player Drop and Refund Request Form Fall 2017 and send it to our mailing address above by June 30, 2017.
