Opening Ceremonies: Friday, September 6, 2024, 6:30 pm at North Valley Fields

Opening Day: Saturday, September 7, 2024

The season runs from Saturday, September 7 - Saturday, November 9, 2024. Regional playoffs for teams that qualify in divisions 10U-14U will be held November 16-17. 2024.

PROGRAM INCLUDES: 9 Saturday games + practices during the week. Uniforms: Shorts, Shirt and Socks. Picture, Trophy, Yearbook, Snack after each game, and lots of soccer fun.

* Divisions 5U and 6U will only be playing Saturdays only – 20 min practice and a 30 min game. No practices during the week.

* Divisions B16U, G16U, B19U and G19U will be participating in Area play. Games will be held every SUNDAY beginning August 18 through November 3. Games will be held at North Valley, however some travel may be necessary. Teams that advance out of Area playoffs will go to Section 10 playoffs, which will be held in Bakersfield on November 9-10, 2024.

Ages & Divisions

Your child’s birth year determines the division he/she will play in. The following are the cutoffs for each division.

Under 5 (5U) - born in 2020
Under 6 (6U) – born in 2019
Under 7 (7U) - born in 2018
Under 8 (8U) – born in 2017
Under 10 (10U) – born in 2016 and 2015
Under 12 (12U) – born in 2014 and 2013
Under 14 (14U) – born in 2012 and 2011
Under 16 (16U) – born in 2010 and 2009
Under 19 (19U) – born between 2008 to 2006

Fees

$225 per player until 5/31/24 ($10 sibling discount applies)

$275 per player if registering after 6/1/24 (No sibling discount and no guarantee of team placement)

LATE REGISTRATION: AYSO Region 174 provides for Open Registration. Registration will close May 31, 2024. Beginning on June 1, 2024, registration is considered late. Late registration will be accepted. However, late registrants will be placed on a waiting list in the appropriate age division. Our goal is to provide a positive and rewarding soccer experience to each and every participant. If additional players are identified, they may be added to the program from the waiting list in a manner consistent with preserving balance in the affected division(s).

To find out if there is availability for your child’s age group, please visit: www.ayso174.org, login and enter your child’s name, birth date and gender. If no availability, then your child will be placed on a waiting list upon completing the online registration process. There is no charge for being placed on the waiting list; if a spot opens up for your child you will be notified via email to log in and submit your registration fee as soon as possible.

Refund Policy

Refund requests shall be directed to the Regional Registrar via email or in writing to the Regional mailbox.

A refund will be processed, less the $25 National Player Fee, for those requests made prior to July 31, 2024. NO REFUNDS will be issued after this date.

Processing of refunds may take 6 to 8 weeks.
